This is a wonderful old Satsuma vase that dates back to the early 1800's. It is stunning. The colors are vivid and bright. The raised enamel design and cobalt is just beautiful. It was, at one time, made into a lamp and was saved. It has a drill hole at the bottom. It also has a repair to one of the handles. The repair is solid but there is a piece missing. There is also a hairline crack at the top. The piece is sound and very old. Please look over pictures carefully. It stands an impressive 18 3/8" tall x 7.5" in diameter. It is priced accordingly. If it were not damaged this vase would be at minimum $300.00
