After Jean Pierre Alexandre Print by Paul Girardet A Quoi Tient L'amour c.1872

This is a very old print in a beautiful frame. It is a heavy three layer wood frame that has been carved. The glass is old glass and is wavy. The mat has foxing and staining. The print is in good condition for its age. The frame is in very good condition with a few dings on the back edge and corners of the frame. Nothing that really can be noticed from the front. With a good cleaning and of the glass, a new mat and light touch up on the edges this is a very nice piece.

There is one that is in the British Museum without the exquisite frame. The frame alone is worth a pretty penny and is a period frame.
