This is a very lovely brown molasses glazed teapot. It appears to be early 1900's or earlier. There is kiln grit on the bottom and the top looks to be hand formed. It has an impressed S on the bottom. Its glaze is wonderful and is a bit darker in person than came out in the pictures. It is more the color of the last three pictures. It does have crazing, but there are no chips, cracks or repairs. Very pretty.

It measures 5" tall x 8" from spout to handle.
