This is a lovely hand painted miniature portrait on porcelain of a Neapolitan Fisher Boy After Gustav Karl Ludwig Richter, 1823-1884.
It is very well executed and the brush strokes can be seen. It is not a transfer. Pardon the bit of dust.
We opened the back and found the numbers 13 and 7613, a possible stamp and initials L.S.(?).
There is a small chip that cannot be seen with the portrait in the frame. You can see it on the back.
