Austria Majolica Julius Greiner Jardinière or Console Bowl SUPER RARE c 1900

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is an extremely rare antique Austrian Julius Greiner and Sons Majolica console bowl or jardinière. It is beautifully made with high gloss finish in light pink and green. It has an Art Nouveau design with beautiful handles. It is stunning. There is some wear to the interior (some of it is dirt that I failed to remove) and if you are not paying attention you would never see that there is a chip on one of the handles. The color over the years has darkened to the point that I did not notice until I ran my hand over it. There is some roughness to the glaze on the green decorated upper area that I noticed, but you have to look close to see it. All in all this is a wonderful piece that you can proudly display. It is certainly a rare piece.

It is 15 7/8" in length from end of handle to end of handle x 9 7/8" tall x 7 5/8" deep. It is marked on the bottom with a stone bridge mark of Julius Greiner.

Please look over all pictures as they are also a part of the description.

Lovingly packed and insured.
